Double Chocolate Banana Bread Recipe

Equipment

  • 1 Loaf Pan
  • 1 Large Bowl
  • 1 Plastic Spatula
  • 1 Wire Cooling Rack
  • Air fryer
  • Kitchen Air or hand mixer

Ingredients

  • 2 extra ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 oz applesauce
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar

Instructions

  • Place your air fryer on a flat and food safe surface.
  • Grab a medium mixing bowl and add the dry ingredients.
  • Next add your melted butter.
  • Mix in the wet ingredients. I mix everything with either a hand mixer or my Kitchen Aid on the speed of 3.
  • Turn off the mixer and use a plastic spatula.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Put the loaf pan on the counter and use the spatula to place the mixture in the well greased or buttered pan.
  • Add the pan into the air fryer and “bake” on 375 for 20 minutes.
  • Stop the air fryer with 2 minutes to go to sprinkle more chocolate chips on top if you desire.
  • Once the timer goes off, place the loaf pan on the cooling rack for at least 25 minutes.
  • Slice and enjoy !
