Equipment

  • 1 large skillet
  • 1 large spoon
  • 1 measurnig cup

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1/4 cup white onion
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup sun dried tomato
  • 1/2 tablespoon oregano
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 11/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cups chicken breast
  • 5 oz shredded parmesean
  • 1 box pasta

Instructions

  • In a large skillet or large frying pan over medium to medium high heat, cook 4 slices of bacon until crispy.
  • Next with the bacon drippings still in the skillet add 3 tablespoons of olive oil and cook diced chicken breasts, garlic and sun dried tomatoes until cooked through (about 8-10 minutes).
  •  Now add the white onions and spinach and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Add the chicken broth and turn the heat down to medium.
  • Slowly add the pasta and stir thoroughly.
  • Depending on if you like your mushrooms al dente or not is when you will add them.
  • If you want them to be more cooked add them now before the pasta.
  • Cook for 10 minutes and add in the heavy whipping cream and cook for another 3 minutes on medium heat.
  • Garnish with oregano just before serving.

 Ingredients

4 slices of #bacon

1/2 of a white onion 

1/2 cup of #mushrooms

1/4 cup of #sun dried tomatoes 

1/2 tablespoon of oregano

3 tablespoons of olive oil

2 cups of spinach 

3 garlic cloves

3 cups chicken broth 

1 1/2 cups of heavy #whipping cream #ketodiet

1/2 pound of skinless chicken breasts or tofu

5 oz of fresh shredded parmesan cheese

( If you want to really switch it up, make it a seafood pasta and add your favorite seafood to the dish!)

1 box of spaghetti pasta noodles.

Variations

If you don’t love the sound of using heavy cream try coconut milk in a can. Dairy free but still makes a great sauce mixture.

Use zucchini noodles or zoodles instead of pasta

Sub the spaghetti noodles for penne pasta or another kind of pasta.

Want to add some spice? Add 1/2 tablespoon of red pepper flakes , black pepper and Tuscan Italian seasoning.

Make double for a delicious meal that can go in the oven for a friend ahead of time. Just make sure you store in an airtight container for no longer than 2 nights.

We love it served with garlic bread, dipping oil and a side salad!
